2019 Earth Day Program by the Catholic Climate Covenant

Have you made your plans to celebrate Earth Day 2019?

Pre-order "All Creation Gives God Praise: Protecting Biodiversity in a Time of Climate Crisis",  the 2019 edition of our annual Earth Day educational program.

The numbers and diversity of the animal and plant species around us are declining at alarming rates.  Climate change is a huge driver of species decline. We can act to protect our planet's biodiversity through individual and community activities, both nationally and globally.

Grounded in scripture, Catholic social teaching, and Laudato Si', this year's Earth Day program will help mobilize the Catholic community to take urgent action to protect all of God's creation.

The one-hour educational program will include prayers, readings, a short video, and suggested activities.

By pre-registering you will be guaranteed to receive a copy of the program by early March.

Note: Earth Day 2019 falls on Easter Monday (April 22nd). Therefore, we recommend celebrating Earth Day sometime during the Easter season or another date that suits your community's schedule.
